High Density Vinyl (HDV)
Ludlow’s HDV foam is a high compression PVC foam that has excellent strength and wear resistance to give performance longevity through excellent cell structure.
Characteristics
- Seals out air, dust and moisture
- Strong internal structure resists tearing
- Excellent dimensional and edge integrity for gaskets
- Very good chemical resistance
- Flame retardant product which meets MVSS 302 & UL 94 HBF
- Flexible to provide contour sealing
- Good vibration dampening and cushioning
- Density range of 18 to 25 lbs/ft³
- Gauge .040” to .5” (1mm to 12.7mm)
- Standard colors are black, gray or white with custom colors available upon request
- Pressure Sensitive Adhesive available
